Mrs Harris
There are good and bad things The suit is certainly a slim fit. Our child is a heathy size and the suit is really good with a thin coat underneath. But if you want to put a thick puffed winter coat this puddlesuit is a no no. One thing I didn’t like is that “plasticky” layer inside. It’s not just rain proof lightweight material, it has that rubbery plastic feeling in the inside which will make the child sweat for life. Just a single waterproof material that is on the outside would be a lot better. I like that it zips all the way up and the neck is protected, no need for a scarf on cold days. It could have little bands on the feet to keep the suit in place (as they always come out of wellies) but luckily it’s something I can sew on myself. It’s very basic and will do the job, but I personally wouldn’t buy it again because of how much my child will be sweating because of that plastic layer inside. Not all rainy days are cold and it’s just no need for that.
