As a bricklayer, I've worked lately with engineering bricks and they can be sharp and nasty sometimes. Wearing the right gloves it's important to avoid any injuries but also less contact with the mortar which is very corrosive.
I'm very happy with the gloves I've purchased and I'll certainly buy them again.
